Power BI
As part of a Power BI course on Udemy I had to think about my own case study involving the use of Power BI. For this case study I found my own data on Kaggle and did the transformation steps in Power Query. From this I set up the following business question and hypothetical client assignment. I presented my findings in an interactive Power BI report.
Business Question
A global logistics company, Panda Logistics, requested a performance dashboard to monitor delivery efficiency across its distribution hubs and transport partners. They wanted a clear, customizable overview that regional managers could filter by location, delivery type, and time period to track on-time deliveries and identify delays.

Process
To define the project, I met with the logistics managers to clarify which metrics were critical for the dashboard. Together, we discussed key metrics like on-time delivery rates, average delay times, and delivery success rates per transport partner. We also reviewed which filter options would best allow managers to tailor the view, how to set benchmark comparisons, and the overall design of the dashboard for ease of use.
Following this, I collaborated with a data engineer to outline the data model and specify required fields, enabling me to build the dashboard in Tableau. This was an iterative process, as new requirements emerged to enhance functionality and data presentation.
Result
The final product is a dashboard that provides a comprehensive view of delivery performance across regions and partners. Each manager can select their hub and view performance by transport partner and delivery type, comparing metrics to set benchmarks. The dashboard also includes an option to export results to Excel for reporting and further analysis.
